Ultrasonography

Cara Jackson earned her RDMS certificate from Institute of Allied Medical Professions. She is registered in OB/GYN and has served as maternal fetal medicine sonographer her entire career. Previously she held a position at Maternal Fetal Medicine at Stamford Hospital. In 2009, she joined the MFC ultrasonographer team. 

Sarah Groner received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Binghamton University in New York. She attended The Center for Allied Health Education for ultrasound in Brooklyn, NY.  Sarah is registered in OBGYN, General, and Fetal Echocardiogram. Previously, she held a position at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Sarah is certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation. In 2018, Sarah joined our MFC ultrasonographer team. 

Priscilla Teixeira received her Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Gateway community college in New Haven, CT. She is Certified with the Fetal Medicine Foundation. Priscilla is registered in OBGYN by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Previously, she held a position at Bridgeport Hospital as a Perinatal Sonographer. Priscilla is fluent in both English and Portuguese, and also serves as a translator for our Portuguese-speaking patients. In 2017, we welcomed Priscilla to our MFC ultrasonographer team. 

Rosario “Rosie” Olavarria graduated from the Institute of Allied Medical Professions and earned her certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She is an Ultrasound Registered Sonographer in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a specialty in the area of high risk. Rosario performs multiple obstetric sonograms such as Nuchal Translucency screening, Level II (targeted scans), fetal growth, BPP’s, cervical length assessments, Ductus Arteriosus Doppler, pulsed Doppler, and color flow studies. Rosario is fluent in both English and Spanish, and also serves as a translator for our Spanish-speaking patients. She has been a part of our MFC team since 2004.
