Jamil Elfarra, M.D.
Dr. Jamil Elfarra earned his medical degree from King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He continued his training with clinical rotations at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, United Kingdom and the Miles City Health Clinic in Miles City, Montana. Dr. Elfarra went on to complete an Internship at the King Khalid University Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He has served as a Resident Physician at King Fahad National Guard Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, St. Vincent’s Hospital/New York Medical Center in New York, New York and Stamford Hospital/Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in Stamford, Connecticut, where he was selected to be the Administrative Chief Resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Elfarra is currently the attending physician of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Perinatal Care, P.C. in Stamford, Connecticut.
Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Elfarra has been in practice with Maternal Fetal Care, P.C. since 2013. Active in many professional organizations, he is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Elfarra has been a presenter at various medical conferences and is the author of an article published in a peer-reviewed journal. His experience instructing undergraduate medical students and interns earned him a number of teaching awards at Stamford Hospital. He also received the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine Excellence in Obstetrics Award.
Mary C. Maffucci, RDMS
Mary Maffuci graduated with honors from the Institute of Allied Medical Professions, Campus of Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. She has served as an Ultrasound Technician and Ultrasound Coordinator at Maternal Fetal Care, PC since 2010.
Mary has extensive experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound for a wide variety of obstetrical and gynecological examinations. Her knowledge and skills extend to fertility protocols, first trimester screening, viability/dating examinations, estimated fetal weight examinations and cervical examinations. Additionally, Mary conducts biophysical profiles using non-stress test equipment and performs fetal Doppler/fetal echocardiography.
Cassandra DePinto, DNP (c), BSN, RN
Cassandra DePinto earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University School of Nursing in Fairfield, Connecticut. She trained as a student nurse at St. Raphael’s Hospital in Labor and Delivery. Cassandra then went on to become a Registered Nurse, working in Labor and Delivery at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut. She is currently a member of the adjunct faculty at Fairfield University as well as serving as a Registered Nurse at Maternal Fetal Care, P.C. in Stamford, Connecticut. Additionally, she is in the process of earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Fairfield University.
Cassandra has been part of the team at Maternal Fetal Care, P.C. since May 2013. She has received various honors for academic excellence and achievements, including the Advanced Education Nursing Traineeship Award. Cassandra has given a number of presentations and made many contributions throughout her graduate school experience, such as teaching undergraduate courses and integrating simulation technologies into the classroom. She continues to educate prospective nurses and provide quality care for women. An active member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, Cassandra is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support and Neonatal Advanced Life Support.
Jessica Kwiatkowski, M.S., PA-C
Jessica Kwiatkowski earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fairfield University in Connecticut. She went onto earn her Master of Science degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Jessica has worked as an Outpatient Physician Assistant at Maternal Fetal Care, P.C. since 2007. She holds Physician Assistant licenses in both Connecticut and New York.
Jessica has extensive experience in providing care to high-risk obstetrical patients, and is also proficient in diagnosing, assessing and treating complications and diseases that occur during pregnancy. Additionally, Jessica provides comprehensive education and support to obstetrical patients, including methods for managing gestational diabetes, Lovenox instruction, and coping with pregnancy loss or termination. Jessica is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Patricia Mayberry graduated as class valedictorian from the Radiologic Technology Program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She has served as Ultrasound Coordinator at Maternal Fetal Care, P.C. since 2008. Previously, Pat worked as an Ultrasound Coordinator for Madonna Perinatal Services in Mineola, New York.
Pat has extensive experience in performing OB-GYN scans, Doppler scans and 3-D scanning for obstetric and gynecological abnormalities, as well as assisting in amniocentesis, biopsies and CVS. In her role as Ultrasound Supervisor, Pat evaluates the most difficult obstetrical cases, and helps determine diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans. Additionally, she is responsible for overseeing sonographer education, and for keeping the ultrasound and computer equipment maintained. Pat has also given a number of presentations and contributed to several publications that pertain to advances and studies in ultrasound technology.
